Sadly not for Porsche, but very much so for us, a bunch of car nuts who enjoy the recreational side of a fun camping weekend as much as the serious business of world endurance racing.Original Porsche 550 Spyder at Le Mans 2014
The highlights this year were probably Duncan's amazing cigar smoking prowess, the crazy electric storm, downpour and carnage in the champagne tent only minutes into the race, and for me, the beautiful display of previous winning cars in the fantastic Porsche tent - sadly not to be joined by the 2014 919 Hybrid car which showed so much promise until the final few hours on Sunday.
As promised weeks ago, I have added some Porsche pictures from the archive, to remind us of what an epic weekend this truly was in 2014.
We come to the end of the year, and we look back at the special moments, Le Mans 2014 was certainly one of those!
